The tropical gardens provide a peaceful atmosphere, making you feel like you're in a tropical holiday destination right in the city centre. Bungalow-style rooms feature comfy beds and handy kitchenettes, with some balconies offering views of the mature tropical plants; however, some guests have noted that the wifi signal can be weak in the rooms.

amazing stay!

great locationgentle breezeclean roommixer tap
i loved how close everything was! the waterfront, shopping, and restaurants were so easy to reach. the resort is open and sitting outside was great because of the breeze. the rooms were super clean, and i think they just fixed them up, always a plus!
i had a bit of trouble with the shower, it seemed hard to get the temperature right and that was a bit annoying (but i figured it out eventually!).
Facilities
9/10
this hotel offers a lovely pool where i could take a refreshing dip during the day, and the surrounding area included many loungers, so i could comfortably relax and bask in the sun after a quick swim. they also have a cool outdoor breakfast area. i enjoyed my daily chats with pickles, the friendly parrot!
Location
10/10
the location here is unbeatable, putting me within a short walk of the esplanade foreshore area. the main shopping streets, so i could easily go wherever i needed to go! it's also centrally located, yet still quiet (best of both worlds!).
Rooms
9/10
i stayed in a compact villa that had everything i needed. a lovely bbq on the patio, perfect for a chill evening. the villa was super clean and surrounded by palms, a nice touch. the bed was comfy and the shower was awesome!
